Hello and welcome!
My name is Anna, I’m an Oxford graduate in Classics, currently working in arts & culture PR. I have a deep, long-standing, pretty much incurable passion for the arts, in every form – theatre, visual arts, dance, photography, literature, cinema. Possibly even more incurably, I like writing about them.
I started this blog in November 2013 (!), to share my passion with other people. I wanted to have a white canvas on which to sketch thoughts and ideas relating to art. Throughout the years, the blog has become a place to gather my own pieces (sometimes as a result of my international travels), as well as articles I’ve written for a number of online publications, including The Oxford Culture Review, Theatre Bubble, A Younger Theatre, Litro Magazine, The Prickle etc.
I believe that art can improve our life – or, at least, inspire it. Take a moment to browse through, and see if you get inspired too.
